This collection is made of a blend of Italian linen & cotton and is signed and numbered by the artist. Hand made in Italy by the local women of Friuli, these shoes were traditionally warn by Venetian gondoliers so that they could safely walk on the precious wood of the gondolas. Also, they were the favourite shoes of noble Venetians who wore them on their quiet rendez nous to their secret lovers.
